DESCRIPTION:Join us for International Vulture Day! This day is to bring awareness of how important vultures are and the role they play in their habitats. Come enjoy vulture themed activities for all ages from 6:30am-12:00pm.  \nVulture Watch Party at 6:30am-7:30am (Primary Activity): Join our education staff in a bird sit to learn about why we love vultures and say good morning as they wake up and spread their wings! Participants are encouraged to bring their own folding camping chair.  \nOther Activities: \n\nBirding Crash Course: How to Bird in Under 15 minutes\nBTA Bird List\nCraft Table\nVulture Discovery Table \n\nFree with admission.  \nNo binoculars? No problem! Check out a pair of binoculars at our Welcome Center.

DESCRIPTION:Join BTA and Arizona Game and Fish for a special members-only evening of bat netting! Witness the beauty of these winged creatures up close and personal and learn about their important ecological role as pollinators and insect controllers. Experienced biologists will provide a fun\, informative presentation about the biology and behavior of bats\, as well as threats they face in the wild. This event is 3 hours long and will cover approximately 0.25 miles. \nFor members-only\, ages 10+\, no pets allowed. $40 fee supports AZGFD and BTA. Space is limited.
