This year’s highlight includes a captivating live auction featuring displays from the Spiny Splendor art installation exhibition. These larger-than-life displays showcase the hedgehog cactus (Echinocereus fasciculatus var. Boyce- thompsonii), named after Colonel William Boyce Thompson and founded within the Arboretum. Gala guests will have the exclusive opportunity to bid on these unique artworks for their homes or organization campuses as well as a full silent auction featuring additional items and artwork.
Additionally, we will continue our tradition of recognizing individuals and organizations dedicated to innovative and sustainable environmental practices through the presentation of our Sustainable Community Award and Climate Action Award.
