Meet Drimia Maritima, also known as Red Squill or Sea Squill! This fascinating plant starts its cycle in spring with rosettes of long leaves before entering dormancy for summer. Then, as late summer rolls into fall, it surprises us with towering flower stalks reaching up to 6 feet tall!
