A small peak of wildflower season🌼at Boyce Thompson Arboretum
While we may not have the fields of poppies that other places in Arizona do, you can come get a peak at these beautiful blooms before they start to take off across the state. Stop by the entrance of our Wallace Desert Garden to take in the gorgeous spring blooms.
California poppies (Eschscholzia californica) are annuals native to the Western and Southwestern United States. The plant is edible, with the leaves and petals being used for garnish, syrups, and teas.
