Jared Langkilde, Board Chair of the Boyce Thompson Arboretum, remarked, “Kim’s extensive background in conservation and her visionary leadership skills are exactly what the Arboretum needs as we look to the future. We are excited to have her on board.”

Shelly Esque, Past Board Chair, echoed this sentiment, “Kim is the ideal leader to take the Arboretum forward. Her dedication to conservation perfectly aligns with our mission.”

A devoted gardener, Kim enjoys cultivating cacti, succulents, and vegetables. Beyond her professional achievements, she loves hiking, reading, and spending time with her dog, Trixie. Residing in Gold Canyon, she is also a proud mother of two adult daughters.

Kim shared her excitement about her new position, saying, “Boyce Thompson Arboretum has always been a source of inspiration and learning for me. I feel privileged to lead this organization and continue its 100-year legacy of conservation, education, and community engagement.”
