Homeschool Day | Awesome Adaptations
Join us for Awesome Adaptations Homeschool Day at Boyce Thompson Arboretum! Learners will investigate the unique ways desert plants survive and thrive in harsh environments. Through interactive, hands-on stations, students will discover how structural adaptations help plants meet the challenges of limited water, intense sunlight, and sandy soils. Bring a packed lunch and enjoy a spring day at the Arboretum with other homeschool families! This engaging day connects scientific inquiry with the wonders of desert life, helping learners understand the resilience and creativity of nature. All activities align with Arizona Science Standards for 3rd-5th grade.
